Yes a lot of questions about their early history that never got answered is one of my biggest regrets,
although some were captured in the local history books that were written in the early 80's.
Every time I read a community history book, you read about the tough times most families had and now in contrast how government leaders have complete disrespect for taxpayers dollars shoveling money out to only ares they think they will be rewarded at election time.

Two terms and your out would eliminate some of this bribe money but not all.

    It's literally a crime.

Sorry to hear, my sympathies to you and the family. Lost mine in January at 100+. Yes the changes that Gen lived. Starting from ZERO as immigrates with his parents to the tech we have today. Worked with mine all my life. Remember their lives, their contributions, retell your kids and grands. Be thankful for that many years. Keep living working as they would love to see us farm, mine did.

You look DRY, neatly 1" here, wet wet. Canola soon ready to cut.

Deepest Sympathy to you, your family, friends and Loved ones.

Was reminded last night of the beauty of our creation, and the amazing sacrifices our King Jesus who created all of us… to provide an opportunity for all of us to know the designer and great Love God has for each and every one of us. The respect you have for God… indicates that your Dad knew King Jesus… therefore we hope to see him on the other side harvesting Love and Peace!!!
                Many Blessings!!!

Our history is interesting they landed and farmed at Lipton then got a homestead south of Glaslyn area. But lots of trees and stones and frost they left and moved to Hodgeville. But drought and no trees so one more move back to Balcarres. Here they bought 6 quarters over time from a guy from Winnipeg. Jewish colony early settler. In 1944 we received 6 clear quarters as the debt was paid. So basically we have farmed in Sask a long time it’s just I’m going to be really old when I get the 100 year plaque.

I did get up to the homestead and took pictures for dad of the farm up there. His grandfather passed when they were farming up there and is buried at Glaslyn.

I wish I would have got more info but we have come to realization we came from the area they are fighting with Russia now in Ukraine. Yea I’m a half Uk/German.
