We had over 4" on Wednesday. We have had more then 15" since the last week in May. Oddly enough, the rain came in buckets always the last week of the month. Yields on the hay are way down from average. The oat greenfeed might save us this year as it is chest high (I tried to post a picture but I just can't figure it out). We were expecting a major rain event so mowed it all down before the rains. Could be a while before the ground is dry enough to get on. The ditches are running and the low ground is full. Some of the big crops are down like matchsticks pointing every which way.

Well we caught the edge of storm tonight. 3/10 rain. Marble size hail and huge wind. Every thing is leaning west now. Further southeast of us bins toppled. Drove four miles south and combines rolling . What a trying fall this is turning out to be. More rain Monday they say.

Wheat finally came dry today and rain forecast for tomorrow.
Going hard trying to get as much in the bin dry as we can.
Wifey in the combine so hoping she hangs in there!
