    I’m sure a lot of you won’t have a problem with that this year but sure noticing enough around the countryside. Earlier it was seeded the more of them out there. From experience what you see is just the tip of the iceberg for yield loss.

    We’re south of Yorkton and definitely have a few here. I don’t think hugely yield limiting but I agree there is probably 10 for every one you see.

      Theyre such strange thing.. make the pods these big bladder kinda things. Pretty weird. I guess we mustve had lots of leafhoppers blow in this yr...

        I'd say this is the worst infestation we've had since 2012. I haven't tried to count, but on the later areas that were delayed by the wet period in June, they stand out like a sore thumb. Might be only 1 in 100 plants, but looks much worse.

        I cannot comprehend what evolutionary purpose this could serve for the leafhopper, the pathogen, or the affected plant.
