    What kind of oil

    I have a new to me 2020 Chev 1500 mini Duramax truck with a 3L diesel. What kind of motor oil are guys that have them using.

    Run the gm oil. 0W20 dexosD. Make sure its for the diesel.

      Thats probably a better question to ask the owners manual than a bunch of cranky old farmers.

        The reason i ask is i have a 2016 Ram eco diesel as well. Bought new. It has 250K on it. I always use 0-40 synthetic in it. Paid too damn much for this Chev too experiment too much.

            Actually they recommend rotella t6, 5w40 for the eco
            We have one too , does your cab fill up with dust too?

                Yep.. I leave the front windows cracked open when it sits, then the dust on the back door sills doesn't get sucked into the cab in hurricane fashion when I open a door.
