$10 peas on a yr like this yr …. Pathetic!!

Fewer acres, beyond poor crop, and a price like that.

Course the famous excuse … slow demand or none.

I would say lock the bins, but with 10 bu crops not many bins to lock.

Cutting mine now that are mixed with oats and barley even taste like sweet peas. I believe the seed price was $ 17 WITH treatment . Should make good balelage and best part grasshoppers didn't seem to like them. Cows will thankyou more for growing them than any buyer from India anyway.Everyone have a fun and safe long weekend !

Talked to a BTO last night from holdfast area. They have 3600 ac of peas done. Yield 32-46 average about 37 he said. They had rains this year tru that area, said his wheat looks above average , canola average. He is only 30 miles from us and our crops are half that at best .

Not hard to see why there are very few peas around here now.

$350 an acre for all that.

They are big in the sustainable agricultural dream.

How is that going to work?

Sold the last dismal drought reduced 2021 crop for 17.30. And I believe it went higher than that.

This crop looks worse. It’s going in the bin and staying there till the buyers WAKE UP
