I doubt it required any convincing. If anything they were probably consulting the NFU. More communism is always a good thing in their books.

We need dry now to get what we have in decent grade. Pray for rain in October again please to recharge soil for 90% of us for next year

In our area our crops are late… and need moisture to finish… as we are 3 weeks delayed…
