    Hailed Canola

What are guys spraying to help out hailed canola after a storm rolls through?

    Just fungicide?

    Just micros?

    Or a combination of both?

Or leave it and let nature take its course?

We have left this yet for a few more days

    Probably won’t make it

    Other stuff like this …

We have sprayed a fungicide, 2 litres of alpine and 1/2 litre micro bolt boron a few days ago
    It’s recovering decent already

Releaf is another good product if not to bad

We always leave a check strip to see difference wether it’s spring frost or summer hail damage .

Had canola look like the second picture last year. Ended up yielding as good as anything we had and never sprayed it.

On long open falls that can happen for sure
We have seen several times a gain of maturity of up to a week with a bit of Alpine . But we are in a frost prone area so we try what we can to push maturity in situations like this

Went for drive to see some canola we sprayed with Viatude and some foliar last Thursday
              Was much like this

Canola across road to the right was hit the same , but no foliar .
