Surprised to see the river running here.
Is the Carrot flooding there?

People dont get why here we dont use wells. Answer the dugout is 14 feet deep, the water dont disappear. Where would water for a well come from?

The Carrot is rising but not flowing to hard yet.
I farm where the Leather joins the Carrot and the Leather comes from the south and gets roaring first so it backs up the Carrot at the start of runoff. In a few days the Leather will slow down a bit and the Carrot will get going.If you go east of here the Carrot will be flowing strong because it has the Leather’s water.
I was at the rivers tonight for a look and the Carrot up and flowing but very tranquil.

Never even got the pond in the yard filled , but fairly good run off on the rest

Locally have dugouts on a bit of higher elevation, that seem to stay high every year. Spring fed?

West of Kelvington, on #49, after a borrow pit was dug, the pit ran over with water for years till enough bentonite plugged it. It ran into Nut Lake, Red River, Assiniboine eventually.

Carrot River has come up a lot since yesterday. I have seen it much higher in the past.

Forecasting another 6 in by Thursday with wind.
