    Can someone explain....

Why are gophers still out in November?

Seen one over the weekend and it just pissed me off.

    November for Christ's sake.

Changed oil on truck on Saturday by shop on green grass +6 . Same spot was 4 inches of snow and -6 a week ago but party is over by Wednesday if weatherman is correct.

      Squirrels too.

Hell some guy left about 500ft of straw swath in his field and it was full with 2000 geese a day ago.

Apparently the moose, deer and elk were real late coming into rut this year too. Mother nature is slipping it seems.

We got a foot of snow October 24th. Never melted. We got another foot a couple weeks ago. Another six or so inches forecast. Yet somewhere there are gophers out?

Same old, same old here. Unfortunately. Or maybe fortunately.

Must be straw from a green combine? Otherwise, what would the geese be finding to eat in a straw swath?
