China canola purchases

Anyone want to take a stab at how much canola has been bought by China since August 01 and farmers have zero idea...If they bought July 2023 canola last week and it shipped in July 2023, farmers will know about it - three months later - in September 2023 while harvesting the 2023/24 crop.

For reference...USDA has China exports from all countries at 2.3 MMT from Oct to Sept - and total exports to all countries - Aug thru Jul at 8 MMT

I don't have the exact number but its the best number I came up with this morning from exporters...

All i want is an equal playing field... few seem to see the relevance.

So unless your a grain company trying to hide the fact that you recently sold a boatload to China, and will now have to buy aggressively from farmers, who else benefits from farmers not having that information and why, as a farmer would you not want this info. Grain boards were told to get going on this file……..crickets.
