    Foxtail in alfafa

Anyone that has Alafafa have you found anything you can spray to control it. We were told Liberty will work, does it work in canola.

Will it kill the foxtail or just surpress it to get the first cut off. Do you need lots of water and at what stage do you spray it.

KERB has been said to work late in fall.

Person who should know does it on foxtail patches in spring when it greens up. Burns it right down and alfalfa supposed to come through with a vengeance and choke it out rest of season. Wow foxtail and thistle if it was a cash crop I’d be retiring this year.

                Assure 2
In crop ( just have to double check the staging) anywhere we have foxtail in peas..canola..fabas... even a hops yard... you can use assure 2. It works alot better than centurion at a pricier ( 50 ac/ jug) rate. The more water the better as foxtail isnt an easy touch.

As well liberty will torch your alfalfa and if conditions are just right it could actually take the plants out. Do NOT use liberty.

That Kerb looks interesting, reading the label. Anybody compared Kerb with Assure in alfalfa in the fall.

Another, vote for Assure 2. Use in spring when foxtail is small.
