Never would of believed that the NFU could get more nutty than when Netty Wiebe was president, but here we are.

Why do these nutjobs even care what the rest of agriculture does. You'd think they'd be happy just being able to differentiate themselves. Why do they want to drag everyone down with them

Why do news outlets consider them relevant?

They haven't been since the early 80's.

Obviously the NFU is helmed by those with no stake in production agriculture. At least conventional scale crop farming. I never pay much attention to any of these organizations but is the CFA much better or about the same?

Scary thing thing is they are spearheading ag policy to the Feds ….. I said that years ago this was going to happen
In order to make themselves relevant, they cow toed to the Fed policies and now we have a bunch of hobby farmers and glorified gardeners dictating ag policy for everyone to the feds simply by agreeing with Liberal brain washed UN puppets .

Situation going on in Europe which we only seem to be a decade or so behind is downright scary. From shirt sleeves to coattails to shirt sleeves. Guys like our resident lunatic here are speaking for us and really unless we get our shit together and send them packing we’re screwed. Prime example of an entitled snob who had everything given to them from a generation who busted their butt for the next generation to float around preaching garbage which goes completely against which put them where they are.

Why Canada is following any European energy, climate or food policy is mind boggling.
They need to figure out their own mess they created, North America should have completely stand alone policies on all those fronts and tell the UN and Klause Schwabs to mind their own back yard
