Shoulda went the whole 100 points again. If inflation becomes entrenched, everyone and their dog will be demanding a pay hike, with strikes and labour walkouts. Almost 1/3 of works are employed by government, and what governments are going to piss off that many people and risk getting defeated next election.

One always has to keep in mind that the central bank never raises rates. It is a question of how far they will suppress them by printing new money. If rates are going up then the printing press is being slowed. In a free market environment rates would be 9-10% right now. Also in a free market environment we would not see debt levels get near this high. I could see inflation continuing meaning stagflation is the new and permanent normal.
