    Drive of shame taking my old combines home. no X9s for me.

      Well did some wheat , best spots are 48, and the poor high 30s. Protein 15.7
      I was blaming the poor look on lack of N
      But soil tests only called for 20-30 and I put on close to 40.
      It was just short rain I guess.

                15.7 protein you have more N than you can use.

                      Certainly getting very dry here. Barley is being combined. Where the hail missed yields are above average. Lots of pre harvest applications are done and still under way. Canola being swathed. Hope to be combining next week.
