Yes immigration is the problem not the 40 million already there L.O.L. Power generation is also a problem so solar is an option. Almond growing coming to an end. Huge ag problem this winter.

nevada and AZ just had one of the wettest summers on record and the lake is falling. Sounds more like human mismanagement.

Almonds and other tree type crops suck up water. However like was mentioned mismanagement and a created shortage so California can steal upstream water from other states looks to be a better explanation. That whole river system is dammed off so many places it’s a wonder it fills lake Mead. I wouldn’t blame power generation so much as evaporation and other human activities drawing down reservoirs

I've seen Palm Springs residential water bills and they are quite low considering.

Are you channeling Mr LOL himself? Or is he using your login to post on commodity marketing?

Vegas went from less than 200k people in 1970 to 2.2 million.

Big part of the growth is government says yes instead of no.
No income tax and no business tax.

I know a hockey player that went from Ottawa to Vegas with a 10 million dollar contract.
              Do you see the appeal?

For all the pissing and moaning about water shortage in California the water bills are a fraction of what they pay in town here with good water from a shallow aquifer and the Sask River right there.

All that Cali water has old treatys on who gets what and how much the dams have to let go.
If the almond grower runs out of allotment he buys some from somebody else and pays big money.
Very complex system with lots of lawyer fees.

Almonds are the most inefficient crop in the world. 3 to 4 litresper almond kernel almonds big in my state got that from a grower
