      Looks nifty for smooth wire. Like my western union splice on barb but these could be handy if you have to add wire to the splice.

        Local coop carries a similar product. Wife got some but they are too long for page wire. So I just connect them by hand…

            I always liked the looks and theory of the gripple. Yes we have them here.

            But for two plus dollars per, each join for me would cost twenty bucks plus. I can tie a lot of wire for twenty bucks a join!

              My feelings as well. Most all I splice is regular soft Bob wire. Last thing when I’m pushing bush is to have to carry extra tools and bits.

                  This is what I do with barb wire. Doesn’t rust like the other method in the join.
