I was looking at that too. Did you really get 4inch of rain.

Half hour west we got like 3 tenths.

That Francis area was hit with a heavy downpour about this time last year.

Francis and south 5-6 inches, Lajord south 3 inches, Kronau 3-4/10, Davin 2/10. We need a bit more but not 6 inches in 20 minutes. Lots of lentils out here and drier is better than water laying around the Wascana Flats. Well, we’ll take what we get and be happy because soon we’ll have to be happy with nothing. 😂hmmm

Vibank south 1 1/2 inches. It looks like Weyburn, Sedley S and Yellowgrass are getting topped up today. It’s a good thing Riceton, Bechard area invested in A and B ditches or they’d be hooped.

This system of thunderstorms is roaming around, but funny how the same areas get repeat rain.

Far NW Sask is in real trouble
Sad part is they were able to seed every acre , had decent moisture, good establishment, missed most frosts at the end of May , early June
And now it’s dying from excessive moisture.
Not that not being able to seed is not terrible, but they are losing established canola after huge expense …. It’s not good . And it’s not just a few low spots , it’s entire sections .
