Drew has struggled for accuracy in my area this year. Not sure his 3 month forecast will be any better.

Finished seeding our wheat tonight, every field missing a few acres lost to wetness. Will start pounding the canola in tomorrow, looks like 3 days of seeding before the monsoon moves in. A inch of rain would finish us at this point, ground is saturated so keeping my fingers crossed that they are wrong with the forecast, will see what Drew has to say tomorrow, good 👍 luck seeding everyone and stay safe. Most hopefully done the next few days here
Several are done south of the river now .
North 20 miles they are at about 50-60% .
Drastic difference here 30 mile north and 30 miles south for moisture. We in between.
Here very dusty on top , but best seeding moisture in years, very grateful for a change.
Frost hammered canola seeded before the 11-12, but that’s usually the case with long weekend frosts .
Peas were frozen stiff a few mornings ago, but they made er

Temperature is good this morning so I’ll get a jump on spraying this morning. We still have 15 mm in the forecast for Friday, which we don’t need.

I know there a lot of variables but what do most think is the lastest date to seed spring wheat in south/central Sask

Something else to think about... Does a guy seed HRS later than intended with the backstop that even if it does grade feed it could still fetch a healthy price? These aren't the days where garbage wheat goes for $1.50 anymore

Fast maturing CPS like Accelerate has less grade risk... but if dry no better than HRS for yield...
