    $400,000

"Over one quarter of Canadians who made over $400,000 in 2019 paid less than the 15 per cent in federal tax in 2019, a surprising number that has the Liberal government rethinking how it taxes Canada’s highest-income earners."

Want to bet this number includes unincorporated farmers and small buisness owners who use operating expenses to reduce their income?

    This won't end well.
Normal unincorporated tax planning will be under attack.

    "Rich" need to pay more!

Liberals should move budget day to April 1 every year. That would be more fitting.

$56B in new spending and not one of Canadas major industries was given any kind of support or incentives to become more productive. GDP is going to plummet by 50% by the time Singhdeau is up for re-election.

There isnt enough rich people in this country to pay for all the fairy dust.

Officially, only 270,000 households make more than $250,000. In relation, we have almost 6.5M people living under the poverty line. We have another 5M people somehow existing on $3k a month.

I would suggest those making 3000/mo are helping those making 400.000.
Interesting to look at the sunshine list,at least here in alta. In ont there is 4 making over 1 mill/yr for the electric industry. Kind of makes one wonder why we do what we do,for pittance compared to other sectors.
