    Corn Stocks Up 2 Percent from March 2021
    Soybean Stocks Up 24 Percent
    All Wheat Stocks Down 22 Percent

      Not much of a switch into wheat acres. Going into soybeans. Impact of fertilizer??

        Durum plantings in Montana projected to be 125% from last year.
        Durum plantings in N.Dakota projected to be 111% from last year.
        Durum plantings in all U.S.A. projected to be 117% from last year.

        Spring wheat plantings projected all U.S.A. to be 98% of last year.

        U.S.A On Farm Durum 12,600,000 bus
        U.S.A. Off Farm Durum 17,097,000 bus

            Plantings might be up but what goes in the bin is what counts.
            Durum growing area is pretty dry.
            Need above average rain fall for a below average crop.

              Durum production was 40% lower in 2021. Canada is going to have to bring big acres to restore this. I bet our durum growing areas are going more pulses.

              I put unseeded acres flood insurance on today. We are the wettest spot in western canada.
