3/4” wrench? I’m no trucker but thought it was more like a 9/16”. If he is actually a farmer he sure doesn’t do much outside. Said before if he talked some actual farm stuff but he doesn’t say anything. Just another troll.

Quickly Unlocks Truck Air Brakes.

Extra deep 3/4" socket loosens the cage bolt to unlock air brakes on trucks. Also removes the air brake booster for replacement. Use with a 1/2" drive. Can be used with an impact wrench. Overall length is 5", inside length is 4-1/2".

Just to clear up the confusion Chucky the caging bolt for a maxi pot is a half inch coarse thread with a three-quarter inch nut however to rotate the slack adjuster requires either a 9/16 wrench on Manual slack adjuster or a 10 mm on an auto slack.

Thanks Highlander. In my earlier post I was clearly talking about how easy it is to cage and release the brakes if your engine is not running and you have no air.

Started on the latest project of moving a roof from a shed with rotten walls to a calving area and building new walls for it.

Got the holes drilled and there was only a couple feet of frost.

Got the beam up today and the lumber wasn’t as bad as I feared it would be. 16 foot 2”x10”s varied between $31 to $45 though. Next week we can hopefully get the crane going and start relocating roof sections. Going to make calving much more enjoyable when the weather isn’t.😎

First load of canola left today and it’s worth a lot more than $16 we got exactly a year ago. Sold two loads of cull cows and they’re worth the same money as a year ago………………. Maybe next year the tables will turn on these bovine prices?

The question is how did some the guys get their air brake endorsement if they don't know the basics like how to release the brakes with a caging tool when an airline flies apart or they need to be towed?
