Canada is undergoing brain drain version 10. Capital is fleeing. People moving. I believe that is an underlying motivation.

This is certainly true. Nobody is investing in the people's republic of canuckistan ever. You may be allowed to be open or not depending. Now investment is in real estate speculation, gold, and bitcoin. Every job is created with tax payer backed investment. It will be soon be evident that governments have destroyed the place.

I will make another wager, their wont be an incentive for people to even try to bring it back. There is no drive, work ethic, entrepreneurship or investment anymore. People are talking cutting losses and ditching especially the 50 and over crowd.
