Its going to be interesting to watch Pierre Pollievere, Andrew Scheer and Candace Bergen among other high profile Conservatives who eagerly expressed support for the convoy. They should have known better. They lost the last election in part because a very large majority of voters are pro vaccine and Ohtool was as evasive as greased pig at a kids rodeo when it came to his position on vaccines.

And now they are faced with the prospect of having to walk back their support and duck for cover because the loony right wing extremists are going to spread a stink so bad that even the brainiacs in the CPC will have to hold their noses after the big bag of crap hits the fan.

It was a stupid idea to drive to Ottawa in the middle of winter to protest a mandate that exists both in the USA and Canada anyway.

And the idea that somehow the federal government is going to roll back all covid measures when almost all them are put in place by all the individual provinces who are responsible for healthcare.

But those little details get lost in the "revolutionary" enthusiasm and broad brush of we are fighting for freedom.

Like how many people do you know who are opposed to motherhood, apple pie and freedom?

If the convoy is hijacked by the fringe, I am betting that Pierre Pollievere, Andrew Scheer and Candace Bergen will have a change of heart and wont be speaking to the convoy protest on the steps of the Hill on Saturday.

Mental health is a serious issue in times of this pandemic. We all struggle at times and though I do not agree a lot with Rider or Chuck I feel for their mental well being. Have a local crackpot on the convoy who shouldn’t be on the convoy. Typical moron who’s done too many drugs and messed his brain and this Covid has put him over the edge. Worst thing in my opinion is the ubiquitous amount of pot shops. Between that, booze, and illicit drugs people are self medicating too much because of being in this situation with no clear path out. You can understand the state of addiction, mental strife, and despair on reserves and the socially disadvantaged. I think I get why people are the way they are. You start to see who is genuine and actually care about what they stand for and say and do, and those who are nasty vitriolic bastards with no intent to make things better but thrive in a constant state of negativity.

I agree the use of ivermectin and hydroxy has pushed a lot of the posters like Burn and Jw over the edge. There is a paranoid fear of authority and any medical advice. They push conspiracy theories and distrust of the MSM while embracing the irrational internet quacks like Joe Rogan.
