Correction I just looked back at some of the trips we took out of regina. From November to April there used to be 2 direct flights a week to Vegas, FL and AZ and Mexico. Those were awesome times. Hopefully WJ can rise from the ashes. We know Trudeau would never extend a hand.

Something about a travel advisory. Travelling now till March is like Russian roulette.

Cause it's all the dirty people when you leave the land protected by Justin Treudau?

What changes when you cross the border?

We got on WestJet’s Dreamliner on the 31st down to Mexico, sat at the front. Unbelievable flight and service. Westjet has been struggling since the sellout or takeover but knocked it out of the park on our trip. Lots of staff calling in sick, etc.People wearing masks here but very few cases so far according to our doctor friend. We are north of PV and had thousands of Mexico City tourists here in our little town over the weekend but all gone now. Life is good here again.

Have been looking at some last minute Sunwing All Inclusive one week trips to various locations in Mexico out of Regina. Quite a few tempting good deals to get down there but to get back to Canada with all the hassle of tests and possibly failing them is a turn off

Daughter used westjet Toronto-Winnipeg and back plane packed full both ways. 1 hour late coming out last minute decided to fuel plane ( good plan I thought ) and when arriving at airport same time as 2 other planes all used same baggage conveyor while other 2 were empty. So much for social distancing. Tee hee.

OTOH if you fail the test you get trapped in a warm place for another couple weeks. Not the worst fate that could befall you.

From what I have been told it isn't as simple as being told you failed the test so you get to enjoy more time in a warm place. A couple I know were basically locked into plain crappy rooms seperately for a week with terrible food left outside the door. They couldn't leave or tour around and enjoy anything.
