Honestly Jazz, I think the "warnings" are getting cheaper and more common every year. This year noticably so.

Bus cancelations, workers told not to drive, and so on.

Winter is serious but they've definitely raised the hunker down limit 10 degrees lately.

41 c here for 2 days been a very cool summer hottest day thus far 36c mostly just on 30 freezing actually

My electronic thermometer gave up its so cold but the mercury thermometer says -44C havent been out yet but am sure its damm cold,and forcast for next 2 weeks much the same.
Going to be hard on livestock and the already tight feed supplys.

The chucks in this world can keep the magical unicorn dust I’ll stick with what always works, I do have electric floor heating if I won’t be around but haven’t used it for a few years. Wood can be a pain if you’re not familiar with all aspects but it’s all I know, gas was 130 grand ten years ago so that didn’t happen.
