    Finance committee

These people get paid to not answer questions.

    7.5 billion and few answers.

Gotta start buying that next election early.

We know where the money comes from, no idea where it goes.

I couldn't believe not one of those around the table could answer the question how are they going to pay fro this and where does the money come from. Unicorn Farts.

This is a dumb question but if you watched the finance committee meeting, is it a prerequisite in finance for some people to bobble? The one witness couldn't quit moving.

Then they had to stop the meeting because the people that really answer the questions couldn't get a live feed. But no one asked why they were not at the meeting.

        The whole thing was bizarre.

I think even the NDP member Blaikie was a little annoyed and the liberals had to take the lead from his questions to butter him up because that is where the support will come from.

BTW , to farm reps that read this, the hospitality and tourism industry are getting over 3 billion for a drought in that industry that was out of their control because of imposed lockdowns. Maybe take note!

Disclaimer. I fast forward through the french speaking parts. So I dont know what the Bloq said.

Did you know , you can "attest" to being sick or taking care of someone that is sick or the fact the daycare or school is not open for a week or two and get 42 weeks at $500.

And when CRA audits you you can say there was no requirement to prove you were sick and just " attest " that you were sick. No doctors notices , no proof of covid tests, nothing.

I did not know any of this , but it makes sense as to why there is a million people not working.

Since there is nothing on TV that isn't painful to watch without being on PVR so you can skip commercials, go to CPAC and watch the finance committee meetings for a good laugh , then a good cry when you realize this is what is running our country's finances.

As I said before, its all very bizarre.

Reality will soon plow headlong into the unicorn crowd. The finance committee exposed who is behind the scenes, woke youngsters who slipped right into the leadership with no life experience. Just like Dear Leader.

Just this week, the business news reported that our home lending ponzi is now larger than our capital investment. Just think about that for a minute. An economy living on FIRE instead of real production.

Good on you Bucket for taking the time to listen to this, and starting the thread

The scary part is they will be looking at other Canadians to cover all their spending.

              Thanks

It's just brutal to see how they waste time and the confusion within that meeting. Holy cow.

I don't know how those guys , doesn't matter the party , don't get angry at the nonsense.
