    Annual carbon tax reminder

Just reminding everyone that carbon tax on NG is just about the same price as the gas itself , come april, it will be more
farm groups have not even managed to get grain drying exempt??????
pretty sad when a liberal govt has to tax the piss out of everyone including young people with families just to support their ridiculous spending habits
even brandon knows better than that
we keep our thermostat at 67 same as before this liberal grab
nothing has changed except our heating bill increased by 30%
its criminal in this cold *** land to tax life itself

Where’s all the money going? Supposed to be revenue neutral.

To be fair, Alberta does have the grain dryer efficiency program where you can get half the cost refunded if you make improvements to your grain drying efficiency, supposedly coming from the carbon tax we have paid. Very very limited items which qualify.

Ask Kenney and Moe about their carbon tax on large emitters and why they didn't design their own carbon tax system and rebate the entire tax to "struggling" farmers.

Yep, I added on to the house in Regina some 400 Sq Ft living area put in a gas fireplace we have now 4 in our home. Nothing has changed I want a good life and not going back to oil furnaces and freezing like in the 60s before natural gas. or Frozen oil lines to furnace plus smell.

The only thing that's changed is now it costs me 30% more.

I believe Moe presented a made in Saskatchewan carbon tax to the Fed’s and they rejected it. Meanwhile Quebec and the Atlantic provinces pay a much lower carbon tax than either Alberta or Saskatchewan!

Debating the method of the tax suggests acceptance of the premise itself.
