    Farmers and a wealth tax

Chances are pretty good that the NonDemocratParty will jump in bed with the Liberalinnameonly party to impose a wealth tax on Canadians. Who will they hit? What do you think will happen? It could put farmers in their line of sight. Are wealth taxes actually asset taxes? Farmers have a lot of assets. This could really hurt us.

And why wouldn't they , easy targets are farmers. Zero representation....I mean zero.

Our MPs in western Canada cheerleaded the gutting of the BRMs. The Liberals noticed that we continue to vote for them so it must be OK.

There will be a couple of articles written about how bad the wealth tax would be , but in the end like the carbon tax that wasn't supposed to go above 50 bucks , the wealth tax will be implemented.

And those conservatives will say they fought hard to oppose it. So they get elected again and then leave it there, if they get elected.

Watch for the Liberals to demonize big oil and next big ag for the rising prices of everything. The real culprit is money printing.

Trudeau & Singh will look into a death tax/inheritance tax, capital gains changes and fertilizer regulations. It will be done in the name of wealth equity and climate emergencies.

In the USA the senate has 2 representatives from each state, in Canada we have a senate dominated by eastern Canada.

Unfortunately you are very correct along with cheerleading from many members of the NFU

They got most of the world to sign on to this 15% min corp tax mandate. Watch for something like that to get pushed in as well.

A wealth tax is just about unavoidable. Calculate your assets and demand a tax bill every year for it. CG and inheritance have some wiggle room using corporations and gifting land to family before death.

But any revenue collection has to be in a budget bill. So we have 6 months to plan for it.

Also watch for border carbon adjustments and this clean fuel standard garbage to hit us as well.

AND they elect them. All we get to do here is elect a dictator for 4 years. Is it time for the constitution to be opened?

If a wealth tax comes in, it will be much easier to handle if under the corp tax rate rather than personal.

If your land is held personally like mine is, that would be a big hit.

Maybe a trust is also a way to handle it?
