And from The Economist this week "Yet an underlying factor is expected to worsen the scarcity in the next few years: a slump in investment in oil wells, natural gas hubs and coal mines." An artificial scarcity, driven by unrecognized and unadmitted psychological factors.

"Supply chain issues leading to alcohol shortage"

DALLAS -- Here's some news that might re-ignite panic buying. Supply chain issues are impacting the supply of alcohol in the U. S. Experts say there's also a shortage of glass which is making it difficult for local manufactures to produce their brands. Stores in Texas are limiting how many products customers can buy. The regional manager of a liquor store chain in Texas says its alcohol available for sale is down about 25% since before COVID-19, but sales are up about 15%.

Looks like we've only just begun with the shortages.

With all the uncertainty regarding fertilizer prices and logistics upcoming this spring, pretty happy it's getting put in the ground this fall.

After the recent rains here in Manitoba a lot more fall application is taking place.

Hopefully those of you that are dry get the moisture you need.
