    mixing wagons

Anybody use a JAYLOR TMR wagon my old 4 auger wagon is getting a bit long on the tooth so to speak. Might have to be a bit more creative this winter on feed rations cuss I have less corn and more silage bales to work with.

I've often wondered how many cows it takes to justify a mixer wagon. There's so much low quality feed or crop residue around that could be better utilized with one.

Any numbers that come from experience?

Don't feed alot takes about 2 hrs for 300-350 backgrounders. But is extra cost of starting 2 tractors every day. Just seem to have better control of feed ration this way and get chores done in short time so I can move on to other jobs.
