Pretty heavy hail west and north of regina

Dang crappy way to close up august
Long swath of big hail all the way from south of moose jaw to near Melville. Not good when prices are high

If there are million dollar rains this is the exact opposite

It’s funny how politicians and the media totally exaggerated the first billion dollar rain but absolutely nothing has been said about the billion dollars that has been lost to storms this past 2 weeks ..
Maybe now that Regina and home of crop insurance in Melville been hit again the Producer might carry a story on the massive amount of crop wiped out and the billion dollar loss over this past while .

Work hard and try to do everything right, and Mother Nature takes it away.

        Sad to see Newguy.

And right now the ag industry demanding we pay for fertilizer ASAP before the next price run up LOL
Meanwhile a lot of farms are losing money nearly daily .

Fertilizer Input dealers have no shame at all anymore ????

And crop insurance prices are nearly half
The market. Something has to change and should
From the party that has farmers backs and
Our free vote. We re so dumb it’s not laughable.

Count your blessings, would be nice to see SK party implement this change but not holding my breath. In some ways it would be nice if all these programs were under the feds instead of each province rolling out their version of ag programs, some richer, some poor.

Thousands of acres of Canola, Durum and Peas pummelled into the mud east of #35 Highway. This is hearsay but on crop inspection about 3 weeks ago, some of the nicest crops anywhere were in that area.

I heard Indian Head north to and past Balcarres. I will hear more later today. Near Yorkton reported golf-ball size hail even this morning. Hail isn’t usually that wide-spread. You would think Agri-Ville would have some ‘reporters’ in that area. Maybe the site would consider some roving reporting?
