Julian assange said these wars are not for winning and you can clearly see that. The US army couldnt suppress 5000 guys in their pjamas? I am sure they could do that with just drones flying 24/7 out in the country side which wouldnt have been costly.

After careful analysis.... had everyone got out Afghanistan that didn't want to be there over the last 20 years instead of waiting for the last week..

The US and Russia could have carpet bombed the Taliban and others with nukes.

Problem solved.

Harry Truman is the last resident of the White House who had the will to win. The Japanese are our friends now.

We should have bombed Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and likely Pakistan as well right back into the stone age. That would have taken roughly 2 weeks and spurred a huge economic recovery while we rebuilt the armament stocks. Then we could have gone in and built functioning societies. It would have cost a fraction of what we did and saved 100s of 1000s of lives.
