Canada agriculture’s latest Big LIE! Agristability, contracts and the media.

Have noticed that nearly every media outlet
Is posting that grain contract losses are covered by
Agristability. No no no sorry the real truth is like everything
Else about agristability it’s included in the whack job
calculation but That doesn’t mean farmers will be paid.
But every Media is reporting as though nothing to
    worry about For farmers.

And who will be paid? Well only farmers with
Big margins due to having good weather the last
5 years. Farmers who have had drought frost
Flood hail etc will not be covered guaranteed and
Even the ones with margins crop insurance coverages
May be high enough to kick out coverage for
    The inclusion of contract losses.

So the question is who is this really for? A few
Farmers that don’t need the coverage and
What about the input gang? Someone told me
They have agristability is this true! Farmers that will
Need help the most will not be covered.

Just setting the facts straight. I wish western producer
And every other news outlet would get people
Reporting that tell the whole truth.

Media is so poor. They don’t research nor find varying opinions, nor do they identify and track down the knowledge base. I suspect that the sharpest knives in the drawer might not aspire to be journalists nor writers.
A good journalist knows how to dig out the fine details.

Don't hold your breath if you got cattle and grain and you think you might get a cheque. It's amazing how often one offsets the other. SOOOOOOO if my hay fields that produce 4 bales/acre only produce 1 bale/acre does that mean I took MARKET loss of 3x $100.00 = $300.00 ? Can I get a cheque by christmas a new mixing wagon would make my day.
