Why did Trudeau buy keystone xl so they can double the capacity to the west coast if he is against the oil industry and western canada?

Ohtool believes in human caused climate change, has a carbon tax and is planning on lowering carbon emissions through more government intervention and regulation. On the surface it is a weaker plan than the Liberals, but it will still have an impact on the oil industry.

Ohtool still plans on deficits well into the future. He is pro choice and supportive of LGBQT2S and inclusive. He is socially progressive on a lot of issues compared with Scheer and Harper. He was generally considered a progressive conservative.

Ohtool is moving the Cons into the middle and moving away from the rural western base of voters.

    That works for you?

What works is say whatever you need to the toddler MSM and electorate to get elected and then do something else once you do. Thats what the average voter wants. Trudeau perfected that and now its being emulated.

OTool may have supported a carbon tax, but he can freeze it or reduce it just like the GST.

        Why not ?
Is he the right guy at the right time ? Probably not but time will tell .
All other party leaders are a complete waste of time , Trudeau has proven to be the worst PM in history and in the process of putting our grandchildren in debt for their entire lives .

If you haven't noticed the issue of accelerating and intensifying human caused climate change is an important issue front and centre around the world that is not going away regardless of what the denialists want to believe.

Ohtool has moved the Conservative needle on this issue and we aren't going back to "good ole days" except in the minds of a few.

Do you believe Canada if a net contributor of Co2 Chuck?
And don't paste some per capita bulshit.

            What about you?
Are you a net contributor as an extensive landowner?

Chuck I feel very sorry for your horse if you hitch him to the corrupt Trudeau wagon . . . . unless he is receiving an unlimited supply of high quality oats.
The Humane Society may be contacting you.

Ask Ohtool. He says the science is clear. Humans are causing climate change on a massive scale.

Here is a hint at the answer. If you burn lots of carbon rich fossil fuels and alter landscapes from their original carbon cycle equilibrium, carbon emissions go up.

Add in the loss of perma frost that release large amounts of methane and the increasing number of boreal forest fires that release massive amounts of carbon, what do you get? Canada is a large contributor to greenhouse gasses.

Otherwise why would Ohtool bother having a carbon tax or regulate emissions lower?

The tool is sucking up and trying to gain votes from alarmists like yourself. It’s about his perceived vote net return. And that is why I can’t support this guy. He is a liberal.

Or demand credit for our northern forests from the UN, or give sequestration credits to farmers and ranchers, or give credit to farmers for the actions they have already taken(zero till, fuel efficient power equipment, DEF, guidance, etc), declare agriculture necessities of life, making them exempt from carbon assessment. Give credit to Saskatchewan for the carbon sequestration of coal power plants, and promote it as a solution to China's carbon and pollution problem. Move quickly to adapt small nuclear plants for Canada. Enforce strict rules for disposing waste from solar panels and unrecyclable parts from windmills.

I still think the greatest thing Tool could do to bust the carbon tax would be to make it a visible tax, where at each step of manufacturing, delivery, retail, the accumulated taxes are there for consumers to see on their purchases, much like GST is visible.
It wouldn't take long for people to get off this woke,,, I'm saving the planet,,, mind set. They would be more concerned about saving their families and the household budget.

Or teach grade 4 science class about carbon sink and who contributes and who uses instead of telling them they will see the end of the world because dad drives a pickup for work.
