    What's going on for land sales this fall? Miller auction for 9 quarters just closed by Westlock.

    the home block, 4 quarters, mostly #3 land, the bare land went for avg 712/quarter.

    The better block of 5 quarters, mostly #2, around 880/quarter.

    somewhat hilly, probably gray wooded and could be some solonetz. I'm told it's good dirt for that area. Judging by this sale, seems prices up somewhat compared to recent nearby sales but not outrageously so.

      Nothing moved here yet that I've heard.
      Year ago $8-900k per quarter.
      Choice new rentals ballistic.
      $125-165+ / ac.
      No change on long term relationship agreements, yet....
      I'm expecting up 10%

              Auction 5 miles west of Westlock AB today had the bare farmland parcels between 600 and 900K depending on quality. Yesterday's auction NE Innisfail so close to the corridor was $1035000 for mostly cultivated but some pasture. Only about 5 miles out of town. Both estates. Clhbid yesterday no saled at Olds one quarter close to town. They did sell some in the central peace a week ago for 325 & 365000. I like to watch land auctions as you do see some actual prices rather than speculation on what they night be.

                Check it out on team auctions 8 mill for 9 1/4s . Got to wonder how that pencils out ,havn't heard how it was split or how many buyers.

                      You can still lock in at 10 years for 5% or less that beats anything I did in the 80's. OH yes the 80's fun times********
