    A good week campaigning

    Muskrat falls....5.2 billion
    Algoma ............ 420 million
    Dofasco ............400 million
A bunch of extension to programs...

Trudeau had a good week....at taxpayers expense.

What is O'toole doing to counter all this?

O'toole is busy making plans for his campaign spending plans as well. But he's waiting for the actual campaign when the electorate starts to pay attention.

Would Trudeau get your vote if he gave you a $100 per acre cheque whether you need it or not? LOL

I might consider it because it was Gerry Ritz with his apprentices of Dreeshen , Rood, and Steinley that gutted farm programs and never put in place a responsive disaster program.

The conservatives are not pushing for any help for farmers because if the Liberals throw something out , it will mean a loss of seats for some conservative MPs.

After the latest census people telling me they have 100 years of data knowing what the governments did for the 1930s, 1961, 1988 2002 droughts and no one has bother to reflect of the data and put it in today's dollars to put a program in place that is immediate ...its pretty disappointing.

Ranchers are telling me even in 1988 they didn't have the water issues of today for livestock.

bucket, we need to start preparing for something else like a sovereign debt crisis akin to 1996. Canada nearly defaulted back then and we are back in the same territory again. Trudeau will sink this country one way or another. There is no way something this twisted can continue. Hopefully the good people of AB recognize that in their referendum this fall.

There will be no support other than minor tinkering at the edges of programs for farmers. That is clear.

The Muskrat falls bailout is a 2 stroke genius for Liberals. It solves 2 problems at once. Relieves NS of their cost overruns which they own to Quebec in hydro revenues. So that $5.2B will just go into the back door into Quebec again.

Not done yet bucket. A few months ago the govt voted our debt ceiling from $1.4T to $1.8T.

I wonder if a mass provincial bail out will get peoples attention because the entire maritimes will eventually be insolvent.
