    One thing for certain now

Western Canada will see record losses , not record profits for the vast majority of livestock and grain producers .
Those who prematurely called for record incomes should be ashamed of themselves for calling that even before the seed was in the ground or cattle got out to pasture

Yes not optimistic, plotting a path of survival. Guys are talking of downsizing cows and cutting crops for green feed to the east of me. Personally crops still just hanging on, yields definitely smaller by the day.

Out near Maple Creek Tompkins area they finally gave up and cut and baled a bunch of wheat that looked destined for 5bu.

Perhaps it's age but I'm increasingly insulted by most media farm related.
Lumping cannabis industry in farm incomes was final straw.
No more info or opinions from this cat.
Suckered into a survey on land rents the other day. After 5 questions you could tell it was Ducks oriented focused on how we value wetlands. Quit. Patsy's.
Stats Can can pound sand. Civil protest.
Crop reporting in this country a joke.
          More should be angry.
Not looking for handouts but to have everyone being told bs and having it fed back to you by those feeding off you is over for me.
Being annually hounded by support lawyers only because you farm is just the tip. Capital gains next. This whipping boy getting a little anti social.

Record losses won’t show up till 2022, when record fertilizer and chemical prices happen. Livestock producers will be hurt the most followed by grain farmers with no crop insurance or not enough coverage.

I ask, open hand slap or backhand slap?
Who in our industry makes any of these pub's relevant?????
Will there be a relevant trade journal someday?
