    Who won the Lottery?

Lots of colours on the radar last night, from Regina to Roblin and further. Did anyone get any significant rain or hail?

One clap of thunder nearly blew the roof off the house, but will get the rain report this morning at work. Only 2/10 at yard. Should be more in gauge. We bought these new big tube rain gauges at Peavey and first one was a leaker ( I tested with coloured water and all leaked out) so I am wondering on this one now.

3/10s no visible hail. Canola coming out of bloom now. Shocked it held its flowers for almost 3 weeks.

North south east and west, the radar was like Christmas. Two tenths at the yard. Barley seven miles away looks like it got a good rain, not sure amount but significant. In shot blade, so that is very timely. Early seeded stuff struggling to head out. Thankful. Wild hail in some places for sure.

Those big tube guages always seem to be a tenth or two lower than the neighbour's. . Unless that is the standard neighbour bs factor. Got 7/10's, will help fill what's there but it won't be a bin buster.

A week now since our last shot.
Moisture probe goes down in the drill misses. Not 6" in the crop.
Any filling at all will require a measurable rain once a week.
Peas done flowering, canola just into full bloom, and wheat bloom ending. Nothing much over my knees.

Big light show at Buchanan starting around 8:30 PM. 3/10s by the time we went to bed but just over 7/10 showing this AM. So that will hold things for a few days but by the look of the radar it was all showers so even 5 miles from the village could be a lot different.

That number is according to my Cheap Chinese electric rain guage which has been up for 2 months now and had barely been tested until last night. The temperature function on it works just fine on the high end. That part has been thoroughly tested.
