1.75 here in the past 2 days, mostly since middle of the night on Saturday. Didn't really need most of that, but not doing any harm either. Still had moisture almost to the surface on no-till ground before this. But plants must have been using an unreal amount of moisture judging by how fast they were growing. Never seen anything like it. Now I almost understand how farmers further east can seed a crop a month later then us, harvest it a month earlier, and take it off dry.

First dose came with a powerful wind, lots of trees down, crops went down not even headed out yet, partially bounced back up now.

Had close to 3/4” Friday/Friday night. Don’t think there was much added today. Definitely helping the grass green up again. It was rather crunchy.

Friday night through Sunday 1.3 inches total. Certainly thankful, pastures were hurting. Will definitely help barley and wheat. Peas were already podding at 12-14 inches high, earlier canola almost past flowering, will be something to watch.

Lucky Ducks, glad the rain went to Alberta and not to Kebec.

Not very widespread. Zippo around Edmonton.
