The rain gauge says 2 tenths but I think even it was starting to sweat this drought.

Last Saturday they forecast 25mm for Tues
Then Sunday they reduced it to 20mm
Monday morning they upped it again to 25mm
Monday night they upped it again, to 25-35mm
Tuesday morning it was still at 25-35mm
Tuesday midday it was reduced to 25mm
Woke up this morning,,, ZERO in the gauge,,, three effing drops,,, not even close to a proper dew,,, grass is dry this morning.

Less than 1/10, It’s still overcast so may get more out of this. We sure need some we have had 1.5” all spring, the hay and pastures are pathetic. Noticed lots of hoppers the last few days.

Have not seen any hoppers. They were bad last year. They are late or there was an egg die off over winter.

Friday is the rain day for us according to the forecasters. A little rain would be ok but anything over an inch would be unwelcome!

Rain varies 1 inch to 2.3. A little water laying around but it’ll be gone in no time at all. Our lentil stubbles were so dry, and foot down pure powder. It’s welcome, not complaining except darn rain gauge at yard crapped the bed, when you are going out in pouring rain and nothing in the gauge was not impressed. Thought someone dumped it on us, maybe Biden . 🤔Peavey Mart rain gauge display sold 4 this morning. 😂✅
