    Tactor tire rims

Anyone have issues with John Deere tractor rims?

    I have a center rim failing..it's cracked.

2500 hours on tractor ...rims shouldn't be giving out ever.

The crack is located about a foot away from valve stem.

Does deere have any programs . No rims in Canada.

    Rimex is 3 weeks.

Going to try welding it first to get through seeding.

So to date ...2 combine rims and now a tractor rim...

Those are repairs that are unacceptable in my view and should be a manufacturer's responsibility. No matter the age.

Pretty hard to abuse a rim. Poor manufacturing. Lots of 900 tires on too small of rims.

Deere rims have been poor for a while. Had a loader tractor crack a rim at 600 hrs. Changed rim and it cracked as well. Welded it up and had no issues. Can dismount then weld both sides. When dad plowed snow years ago he had rims breaking on the wing side. Machine shop bent him some pieces to weld on where rim cracked. Grader wing mounted on 145’s and 835’s was a bit much for ag rims. Think problem with Deere stuff is quality of metal they’re using. Wouldn’t doubt they outsource rims to someone of offshore origin.
