2nd day of seeding canola. We have lots of sub-moisture but the top is very dry. Places its seeding beautiful, other places you wonder if you should be deeper. Its very heavy land and getting even emergence will be an issue this year. 9 out of 10 years we get a 2-3 tenth rain to help the tractor and cart tracks. This year we won’t. May return canola and go all in with wheat. Will decide after the next half section. I can get that to come up no problem.
