    Earth Day

Went to Medicine Hat with my son in the diesel powered super B’s today. Left all the house lights on and turned up the furnace. Just trying to do my part.

    Have a great day.

    How dare you!

Car pool like that, taking your son with you on earth day, he should have driven in his own vehicle, regardless of age. Shame on you, shame on both of you.

I stand corrected. I should have been more extreme to make my point. Thanks.

I don't think there is anything wrong with having an Earth day

As farmers we are connected to Mother Earth more than anybody else. We plant our crops, feed our livestock, breathe the fresh, and drink the fresh water she has given us. Every day is Earth Day to us.

To be able to walk through the heavy bush we have around our farm, there is nothing more relaxing.

        Beauty is all around us.

The majority of us also take good care of what the Earth provides us, as we know the Earth provides us our life style

You drive down the highways and see how some asshole just throw what ever garbage they have in their car out the window. No respect for others or the Earth. That is why there is Earth day just to remind those that don't give a shit about the Beauty we have on this Planet and Canada

        Happy Earth Day!

I wouldnt celebrate so fast. if earth day was about real pollution it might resonate, but Trudeau just promised to reduce emissions to 50% of 2005 levels.

Nothing short of shutting down oil, mining, ag and heavy transport will achieve that.

            Yay earth day.

All the points you made forage I would have to agree with. I also get great joy out of what mother nature provides for us. The part of “earth day” that I have a problem with is the virtue signalling. The turning off of your lights for an hour, etc, etc.

How many million gallons of **** and other pollution did former "Earth" Minister McKenna permit Montreal to dump into the St. Lawrence river?

Hmmm? She shows really dark green, right?

And did Victoria ever get those sewage treatment plants up and running, or is the tree-hugging Left Coast still creating an obstacle course of human turds for the seals and whales as their raw sewage dumps into the Pacific Ocean?

                Well it's cheaper, you know?

So ya, they likely celebrate "Earth Day" in those places too.....

Their fervor fails to hide their farce.

Sure hope earth day is not a precursor to the rest of the growing season ...

Not sure what the fuss is. Every day is Earth Day here.
