Why is Covid political?

There was no way of launching the climate change agenda without covid, they needed a reason to ban travel, that was socially acceptable, fear, so they could assault the oil industry. They need small business dead, because if your next meal doesn't come from govt you won't follow, the masks and vaccines are to show your commitment to the cause. And we have been pitting everyone against each other through immigration and not implementing a policy that you had to take on the Canadian identity like our forefathers did through language and religion on entry. Cancel culture, forget your Canadian heritage, keep the old country. We are living in Babel. Did nobody read history? Oh they don't teach that, only white man bad. The liberals and conservatives will fracture, just like the dems are in the US. There's not that many AOC's, half ~ of them are reasonable, the same with the republicans, there's corruption in both parties, in both countries. Half ~ are power mongers the rest, jrs, had and still remember honest intentions, but they are extremely low on the totem pole, so they get threatened to follow and don't speak up. It's a mess, and until someone flips the tables, nothing changes. There's evil in govt, recognize it. Term limits?

This is a perfect example. I can't argue with anything you wrote in this post. I know you are a very smart guy, well connected with your finger on the pulse of these things. I know you aren't some crazy conspiracy theorist.
As you have connected the dots, the logical conclusion to make is that Covid is being used as a convenient excuse to bring in a lot of very bad policies.

But all of that being true still doesn't mean that Covid is a hoax or a scam, or that Bill Gates is trying to microchip( or kill, or sterilize) all of us with a vaccine, or that social distancing doesn't reduce the spread of viruses etc etc.

And that is what the true believers fail to grasp. They gave thinking people the reason to doubt their intentions, and they set the stage for conspiracies, when they didn't draw a clear line between what is a genuine health risk to certain people, and the crazies who want to remake society in their socialist/environmentalist image.
If anyone actually takes the pandemic seriously, then you need to stand up to, and denounce those who are taking advantage of this to advance their agendas.
By failing to do so, they have lost all credibility.

Dont think for a moment that doctors dont have political bias as well. Many of them are devout socialist hypocrites living in $5M houses.

And it is unconscionable that people, politicians and organizations are using these deaths and tragedies to make this political, to further their radical agenda.

But they will say this most recent lockdown is responsible for curbing what is just another minor seasonal spike. Knowing all along when they can predict spikes ahead of time.

Neither Burnt, nor you or I are qualified or informed enough to make public health decisions. I completely agree doctors as a group have a biased opinion, but suspect even with that still better advice than a bunch of agriville farmers.

I'm very neutral on covid, believe it's real, wear a mask, dont kiss strangers on the street, will get vaccinated but havent let it control my life. But the constant lies and BS, mostly from the anti-covid side is much more tiring than the pandemic problems itself.
