-not approving other vaccines fast enough
-not getting vaccines delivered fast enough
    etc

Now that Canada is regularly receiving vaccines, those same posters say they will not take the vaccines if available because:
    -not enough testing
    -too fast approvals
    -not safe
    etc.

Those posters cheered Trump's warp speed that speeded up research, testing, approval and delivery mechanisms but now that Trump is gone they post memes that question the speed that vaccines were developed and tested.

They claim Canada did not shut down air and border travel soon enough or completely, yet complain now they cannot travel. Now they do not want their province, area, or town shut down because of very few cases. The shutdowns are to prevent spread to an area be it Canada last spring or your RM now

Seriously, when your arguments change on the basis of political bashing rather than impact on covid, do you really think anyone takes your arguments seriously?

BTW, for those of you who continue to blame Trudeau for the slow vaccination success in Canada due to lack of vaccine procurement, lack of vaccine manufacturing etc, here is an interesting article today on the Russian experience. Russia was the first country to approve a vaccine (Sputnik V) back in August and was the first to roll out mass distribution of that vaccine in December. Yet they have vaccinated a lower percentage of their population than Canada has and cannot meet demand so has turned to South Korea and India to import the vaccine they developed for their own needs.

following is the vaccine delivery schedule for the next few months.
Is it enough? Not for those who want one as soon as possible but are not in the age/group eligible for vaccination as determined by your province. But there are 7.9 billion people on this planet and if even half want a vaccine that is 8 billion doses (most are 2 shot) that have to be manufactured, delivered, and administered world wide. This is not going to happen overnight as much as the me first thinkers want it to.

Ottawa does not determine who in a province is eligible, or where the vaccines are shipped within each province. That is a provincial responsibility.

Sad that your 85 year old mother has not yet got her vaccine when Sask already opened up phase 2 vaccinations and are vaccinating under 60 year olds at drive throughs in Regina. But that is not the fault of Ottawa or vaccine delivery, that is a decision Sask health has made.

        Distributing vaccines
COVID-19 vaccines will be available to everyone in Canada who are recommended to get the vaccine by federal, provincial and territorial public health bodies. Doses of the vaccines will be distributed in Canada in phases, which began in December 2020. Assuming the continued supply of safe and effective vaccines, it's expected there will be enough vaccines to immunize everyone for whom vaccines are approved and recommended. We anticipate this will be accomplished by September of 2021.

The following table describes the quantities of COVID-19 vaccines that have been delivered to provinces and territories to date. The total vaccine confirmed distribution table will be updated weekly.

          Back to the original question.

I don't think the dividing lines on Covid are quite as political as we might think.

It seems that almost without exception those on the "left" are on board with measures taken, vaccines, economic consequences, and using this event to further an envirnomental/socialist agenda.

But beyond that group, I don't see one monolithic group on the opposite side of the spectrum. Most people I know, and many on here, who would identify as right on most issues, hold a wide range of opinions on covid related issues.

Take oneoff for example. Not trying to put words in his mouth, but on most issues, he could be considered the anti-Chuck of agriville. Yet takes a common sense science based approach to Covid and the vaccines.

I know more people on the right who take a similar position than the extremists.

When I first posed the question I was asking from a micro perspective. There are a vocal group which went full anti Trudeau over slow delivery and slow approval of vaccines. Now that vaccines are being delivered, those same people are now questioning the rapid approval process and personally refusing the vaccines. That is the hypocrisy that I was questioning. I could see no other reason for such a turn around other than trying to score political points and no one has answered as to why the change in position if not for political posturing.

As far as vaccine hesitancy, there is most definitely a difference in acceptance based of political and religious leanings from a macro standpoint and it is well documented in the US. Tribe is playing a role in acceptance of vaccines hesitancy. To say the left is all for it and the right is not one way or the other is over simplistic.
for example: "In Texas, 61% of white Republicans, and 59% of all Republicans regardless of race, either said they are reluctant to get the vaccine or would refuse it outright, according to the February University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll. Only 25% of Texas Democrats said they were hesitant or would refuse to get a COVID-19 shot, according to the poll." https://www.chron.com/coronavirus/article/covid-vaccine-hesitancy-white-republicans-16050176.php https://www.chron.com/coronavirus/article/covid-vaccine-hesitancy-white-republicans-16050176.php

I have no doubt there are areas in every province where vaccines are not reaching people eligible and who want the vaccine. There are lots of holes in the rollout program in every province and people are getting missed who should have received a shot earlier because of booking issues/delivery issues within province/lack or ultra cold storage in case of Pfizer vaccine/lack of staff to administer vaccines/or a provincial focus on delivery to another region city or area. In Manitoba, a recent CBC report found only half of 80+ year old's have received the first shot. It is very unfortunate.

But vaccines are arriving in Canada and being delivered based on population to each province for delivery according to each provinces plan.

And some good news is it was just announced about an hour ago that Pfizer is going to send five million more vaccine doses to Canada in June than it previously planned, and AstraZeneca will ship 4.4 million doses by the end of June.

Dml, do you care to address my concerns in the 2nd post?
Do you think that the well intentioned efforts of Agstar, Chuck, yourself etc bear any responsibility for hardening the resolve of anyone who doesn't share your world view and socialist agenda?
If you were a healthcare professional responsible for informing the public about the risks of Covid, the mitigation efforts, and the effectiveness of vaccines to the farmer demographic, would you choose somweone who is respected, knowledgeable, polite, has an impecable track record of being non partisan on policy issues?
Or would you choose Mr. Flat earth himself?
As they say, with friends like these, who needs enemies?
