    How much rain?

How much rain do soybeans need.

There talking rainfall deficit over next few weeks.

They must need like 2 inches a week or thereabouts?

Depends how hot. They can handle a lot of rain. Better than canola

Yeah the amount of rain a soybean plant needs here vs. there is going to differ hugely. Here two inches would be borderline too much.

The killer to us here is the lack of heat units, aka growing degree days.

If only you and I could average each other out... I got GDD to burn.

Grew soybeans for shits and grins on 80ac in 2017. Looked "ok" till the 2nd week of july. Then they stunk like silage every night till they were cured enough to combine up a monstrous 3bu/ac.

                Fun times.

Haven't heard sf3 call canola the ugly sister lately, bring on global warming.
