    Kalco farms auction

Opportunity knocks. Here is the link: For those worried about drought, come to were flooding has been a problem recently. A lot of land is rented in that area from real estate companies speculating on industrial development so there may be land available for rent in the area.

Watching the close on this auction now. Bargain so far was a whole quarter of land for $550000. Will not be a perfect quarter but generally good land on Edmonton's doorstep. Another related auction was on CLH bid where on quarter with yard subdivided there was one bid at the opening bid price. (770K) Kalco's 600000 bu bin setup with a yard and house was at $2802500. My guess is the seller's are a bit disappointed right now. In Alberta's land market, rumored prices are always higher than actual so paying attention to land auctions are the only way to know what land actually sells for.

If you click on each lot you it will open and reveal the selling price of the parcel as well as details of the land

This must be bank ordered. Selling home quarter, yard sites and that land a stones throw from Edmonton?

I thought this was a gigantic operation, where is all the rest of the land? Rented?

There is a lot of rented land in the area since the land in the area is owned by real estate companies that speculate on sites for oil field and industrial development like refineries and plastics plants. Leasing land and equipment was a recipe for bankruptcy around here with the string of difficult years.

Low pocket early frosts I heard.
Sorry but values every where else here in Alberti seem healthy.
Nuts was the term my lender used lol.
