      Hydraulic hoses bubbling on newer loader tractor this morning guess oil under too much pressure to flow. Get to change a couple after dinner during heat of the day -30 ....... fun times ! Least I didn't loose much oil cheap crap hoses.

        We used to run 0w30 in everything in loaders in my former life in the patch

          Ad a couple gallons of kerosene to the hydraulic oil. It'll evaporate in the spring.

            Batteries in both pick ups crapped the bed this afternoon. Shop door under repair. Leavin er run all night to make an appointment in am. And I'm not ashamed in the least LoL.
            Not too often we get this deadly a wind.

                We used to do that in the older tractors but not sure if that can be used in the transhydral systems. Use 0-40syn in the engines and that seems ok.

                  Definately do not add kerosene to hyd oil. Clutch packs in trans will not last long.

                    we used 0w30 in diffs, tranny's, motors and hydraulics, new loaders on warranty
                    couldn't believe the difference
                    finning was ok with it at that time
                    used kerosene in draw works oil on rig , but just chains and shit, nothing fancy
                    if you didn't , spin on filters would blow up , this was in the high arctic, which was a little warmer than Sask. most times
