Just offered close to $8 for feed WTF is wrong with #1 12.being so low.

So just off the phone and can sell for just under $8.00 picked up Feed wheat pay in 7 days on over 50000 bus.

The price at the local terminal with discounts etc. for milling wheat is around 7.25 or higher. But I have to haul and deal with them.

Check printed now in Winnipeg so a few days to get.

Why are humans not paying for wheat yet animal feed is. Or is it like malt barley the Big dogs don't want us, little peons, to get paid what they are really selling it for at the coast.

The bigger question to me is why has everyone not taken the $8 wheat already and then crashed the feed market. There is no way feeders can use all the wheat in Canada yet they are having to pay a premium to pry it out of farmers hands.

I understand it is frustrating that no1 is less, but is it worth selling for less just for the pride of growing a no1. Must be cause there is still lineups at the elevator.

In the last 10yrs I have only had one small contract on graded wheat. Realize I'm closer to the feed users but its just become normal that they pay equal or higher and its picked up. Also helps the harvest stress out a bit too.

As far as wheat goes, I really don't care what they make out of it! It can be high protein, high falling number #1 and if they were paying me more to light it on fire than make bread out of it, I would...

Chyynaa! is the answer, and the fact our competition Russia isn’t growing and exporting like before. It’s kicking our domestic feeders in the nuts right now. I love high grain prices but if it’s healthy for our domestic industry. China comes in and hoards commodities, buggers up an industry, then quits buying. They’re liable to not even be in the market come fall. You can’t trust them to make any plans. I see every guy and his dog are growing barley. I guarantee by fall it’ll be $2 and China nowhere to be seen except maybe moved on to Australia or the FSU. I hope I’m wrong.
