If you have lots of money, huge tracts of land and IT capability, you can be king of your own city in Nevada. As an aside, Nevada is planning to have all employees that are now working remotely back to work by March 15, 2021.

The Federal Government controls something like 86% of the land in Nevada. There are reasons for the vast open spaces.

Not sure if Nevada is a leader but I sure wish I was in the Palazzo casino right now instead of riding out the vortex in lockdown.

Canada is the worst place on earth to be during a pandemic. My retired neighbor is living it up in Mexico right now. Doesnt give a flying f if he ever makes back to canada.

Mexico is a great place to visit but far from the paradise it is made out be at times. Would not live there without an easy way out.

Our friends left today for Lake Havasu, they took insurance that covers them for Covid. The day the 14 - day quarantine ends, I will be booking the flight. (Friends in Mexico loving life too, They aren’t worried in the least.)

It is partly what you make of it as well. I went out and laid on the straw with the sheep grazing in the sun and took pictures. Love it! I get the sentiment, don’t get me wrong. I’m flat out weird.

It’ll be better when we are our own republic out here too.

As a kid we showed horses at the Calgary Stampede for a few days at a time. Had time to kill so we would put some chocolate almonds in the straw and when people would walk by we would pick one up, look at it and pop it in our mouths. The reactions were priceless!
